During Vanessa’s production residency she developed a short film and installation titled Between the Lines. This installation considers how words make us feel emotions, alludes to how one thing can represent another, and reflects our ability to make inferences, interpret nuance, and ascribe significance. On February 8th 2019, an artist talk and public workshop outlined the residency project.
About the artist:
Vanessa Crosbie Ramsay is a multidisciplinary visual and media artist & Arts-Educator from Hamilton, Ontario. She holds a BFA in Film & Video (York) and an MA in Gender Studies and Feminist Research (McMaster). She has exhibited work in Canada and the USA.
