Media artist Jim Riley will lead a workshop exploring the interconnection between cinema and video art including video installation. How is Cinema different from Video Art? Some aspects of how video art evolved over the past fifty years will be discussed.
Jim Riley is a Burlington, ON based artist and independent curator. He has exhibited his art for more than 27 years in Canada and the US.
MASTER CLASS: BEYOND the ART and INSIDE the TECH is a workshop series that offers you the opportunity to get hands-on technical skills (TECH) and allows you to get a glimpse inside the mind of the artist (ART).
