Thursday August 29: 7-9 pm
FREE all are welcome
On Thursday, August 29 at 7pm, we hosted John Smith’s Convenience Stores, Space Flowers, and Other Spinning Objects closing reception and Artist Talk. This was the community’s opportunity to meet John, and learn about how his art and music intersect. The talk was about 30 minutes long beginning promptly at 7:10pm and was followed by a Q+A period and networking opportunity.
Convenience Stores, Space Flowers, and Other Spinning Objects is John Smith’s debut solo exhibition. Through its’ minimalistic found-object subject matter, it aims to evoke thoughts about what we consume, feelings about what we remember, and curiosity about what we don’t understand.
