IO Lab is an audio visualization pilot project encouraging media artists of all levels to test and share their experimental interactive works. Audio Visualization is simply the visual representation (output) of an audio signal (input), the only IO Lab limitation is that all works must be designed to respond in real time either physically or in code. This physical computing environment explores the blurry space where analog meets digital and in the interaction expresses something unexpected. Media artists are encouraged to participate with their code live, their works interacting with each other, the space, and the audience.
Featuring audiovisual works by:
Steve Hudak
Andrew O’Connor
