TAKE 1: BEGINNER takes you from concept to exhibition. Each week, participants will learn the basics in many departments including pre- production, production, post-production, and exhibition. You will gain the skills necessary to make your own movie!
INTERESTING FACTS
- Many workshops focus on the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking. In addition, TAKE 1 offers the unique opportunity to create a casing call, audition and eventually cast your film.
- Our instructors have worked in the film/television industry and are active in the local filmmaking community.
- Many workshop participants of the Factory Media Centre have gone on to create their own works and have remained active at the Factory Media Centre, and in the local filmmaking community.
- Participants often find other like-minded people that they end up working with on outside projects.
