Friday November 1st | 7-9pm
Factory Media Centre is delighted to have Roberto Santaguida return to offer his out of the box Personal Documentary Film Workshop.
This workshop is FREE, and welcome to participants of all skill-levels.
Doors will open at 7 pm, followed by a screening of one of Santaguida’s Short Films promptly at 7:10pm. The workshop will begin directly after the short film.
This personal documentary film workshop will provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge of the mechanics involved in producing a personal documentary film. The attendees will learn the basics of this type of filmmaking through the process of actually making a short film. They will learn how to find the cinematic equivalent for their ideas, for the stories they like, or for topics with which they are interested. Participants will be taught how to develop their own unique conceptual approach to narrative film.
“With a mix of psychological introspection and outright play, it is a workshop unlike anything I have experienced.”
Daniel Sauve , former participant
“Rob’s workshop helped me re-imagine myself and my sources of inspiration as a filmmaker.”
Julia Beck, former participant
