This personal documentary film workshop will provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge of the mechanics involved in producing a personal documentary film. The attendees will learn the basics of this type of filmmaking through the process of actually making a short film. They will learn how to find the cinematic equivalent for their ideas, for the stories they like, or for topics with which they are interested. In order to realize their projects, participants will be taught how to develop their own unique conceptual approach.
Robert Santaguida
Since completing his studies in film production at Concordia University, Roberto Santaguida’s films and videos have been shown at more than 250 international festivals. He has taken part in artist residencies in numerous countries, including the United States, Romania, Germany, Norway and Australia. Roberto is the recipient of the K.M. Hunter Artist Award and a fellowship from Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany.
