April 19, 2017 is National Canadian Film Day 150, a massive one-day celebration of Canadian cinema in honour of our nation’s sesquicentennial. To celebrate, the Factory Media Centre will present two award-winning Canadian films : 7PM Manufactured Landscapes & 9PM Incendies.
Hamilton Film Festival will be hanging out with us during the day for a free drop-n-talk and check out FMC’s gear! All welcome! Let’s keep Canadian Film going all day long!

Exploring the surprising beauty amid the waste generated by factories and dumps, Burtynsky and documentarian Jennifer Baichwal travel across the vast landscape, capturing incredible visuals that need little commentary.An impactful but subtle statement about humanity’s impact on the world, Manufactured Landscapes’ powerful images raise more questions than answers.
